Home Visits
Occasionally it may be necessary for a home visit to occur where a person is bedbound or very frail and elderly. Please be aware that capacity for home visiting is very limited and we cannot visit for reasons other than this.
Home visits will normally be attended by a Paramedic from the Primary Care Visiting Service.
All Visit requests should be made, wherever reasonably possible, before 11am.
All Home Visit requests will be triaged and a GP will make the final decision on whether a home visit is required.

Requests for home visits received after 11am should only be for new, urgent problems which cannot wait until the following morning.
