Emergency Appointments
All patients requesting an emergency appointment will be required to complete a triage questionnaire. This is to ensure you are booked with the best service that is suited to your acute medical problem.
To request an emergency appointment online please use the following link: Request an Urgent Appointment. Alteratively you can arrnage an emergency appointment by phoning the reception team on 01865 771313. They can send you a text message with a link to the triage questionnaire or can go through the questions with you over the phone. After your triage questionaire has been reviewed. If a face-2-face review is needed, you will be booked into one of the following services:
The Acute Hub which is based at the Leys Health Centre, Dunnock Way, OX4 7EX. They will call you and assess you over the phone before giving you a timed appointment to attend.
Alternatively you may be offered an appointment with a GP in one of the local Oxford City Urgent Care Centres (UCC)
This service is offered at 2 sites:
• The John Radcliffe, next to Arthur Sanctuary House, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7RH
• Kennington Health Centre, 200 Kennington Rd, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5PY
Please note that if our emergency hub and UCC reach full capacity for the day we may ask you to call 111.
Urgent appointments are not for repeat prescriptions, fitness for work certificates or signing forms
